Meet Kristin & Join Our Chapter Challenge

As a part of our Scholarship “Chapter Challenge” this year we are sharing some stories from local DFW Hokies (alumni and current students) so you can meet some of your neighbors and see why they choose to give back.

Kristin Doller

Meet Kristin! She is an alum of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business with a degree in Accounting and Informational Systems, class of 2003.

Kristin currently resides in Trophy Club, TX one of theĀ many suburbs in the area, and has been active with our chapter through the years. Fun fact: she is actually one of our past chapter Presidents!

So for those of you who think you can’t be directly involved just because you don’t live in Dallas (or Fort Worth) proper, that’s just untrue! We love engaging with as many local alums as possible – no matter how far from a city center you may live. Reach out to us at any time at dfwhokies@gmail.com or on our Facebook Page. We can’t wait to chat with you!

But, back to why we’re here today. In conjunction with our current Scholarship campaign, we wanted to hear from local alumni. Kristin was kind of enough to share a little bit with us about why she gives back to her alma mater…

What does being a VT alumni mean to you?

“Hokie Nation is and will always be special. Our Virginia Tech motto, Ut Prosim (That I may serve), is deeply embedded in our DNA. I’ve been fortunate to have a number of alumni encourage and guide me throughout my career and it is an honor to return the favor to the future and recent Hokie graduates. Hokie Nation is a special bond that we share to support and champion one another. I am proud to be an alumna of Virginia Tech and I am proud of how we step up to serve one another.”

Now we need your help reaching our goal to give back to the DFW Hokies class of 2025…
