The Dallas and Fort Worth Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association is pleased to announce Jacob and Carter are the recipients of our 2021 scholarship award.  

Jacob

Jacob is a 2021 Argyle High School graduate. In addition to his outstanding academic achievements, Jacob is an active leader in his school and community. He was active in Boy Scouts of America, earning Eagle Scout rank. He participated in both soccer and tennis, and has worked with animals, and volunteered at a horse therapy center and reptile education center. Jacob desires to be a veterinarian and plans to major in Animal and Poultry Sciences.  

Carter

A 2021 Keller High School graduate, Carter plans to continue his study in engineering at Virginia Tech. Carter has been a Boy Scout for fourteen years and earned Eagle Scout rank. He was a member of the Keller Marching Band and was inducted into the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.

Congratulations to Jacob and Carter and we wish you all the best as you begin your adventure at Virginia Tech!
