Megan

The DFW Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association would like to congratulate Megan for being named the 2016 Scholarship awardee. Megan is a Lovejoy High School graduate from Lucas, TX. In addition to achieving high academic success, Megan was an active leader in her school and community through Robotics, Cross Country Team, Orchestra, and Church Volunteer work just to name a few of her plethora of extracurricular activities. Megan’s work as a nanny for a child paralyzed by Spina Bifida has inspired her to major in Mechanical Engineering in order to pursue her goal of designing robotic limbs and braces. Megan clearly exemplifies Tech’s motto, Ut Prosim, embraces the Hokie spirit and already has a zeal and enthusiasm for the University. Congratulations to Megan!
